Case-Assessment
Course Rationale
Effective case assessment is the basis for effective
application of relevant intervention strategies. This event focuses
particularly on work with problematic and/or offending behaviour
and provides the tools for staff working in this area to develop
their ability to case assessment processes.
Course Design
This event
can be one or two days in length and provides an opportunity
for participants to develop their skills in the analysis of problematic
and/or offending behaviours. This approach aims to develop an
understanding of patterns leading up to problematic behaviours
and thus provides a platform for meaningful decisions as to appropriate
intervention strategies. Examples of potential strategies for
intervention can be provided along from current practice within
criminal justice and other services.
Course Availability
This event is particularly relevant to staff
working in the criminal justice or forensic mental health sectors.
