Group
work
Delight Training offers a range of courses based around teaching
and enhancing group work skills for a large range of organisations.
Over the past 20 years we have collaborated with upwards of 50
organisations to provide group work training to their staff. The
following are examples of the courses we have run:-
| Introductory Level |
 |
A two day introduction to group work skills.
This course offers a theoretical background to working with
groups, particularly focused on group development, an opportunity
to examine individual skills and relate these to ongoing group
work. |

| Practise Level |
|
A two day event ( with 1 day follow up) which aims to allow
participants to share and learn from their current experience,
gather a wider of view trends in group work., participate in
a specific group development exercise aimed at practice enhancement,
and action plan for ongoing implementation of their learning. |

| Advanced Level |
|
A 3 day event (with optional 1 day follow up) aimed at developing
practitioner skills a combination of input and opportunities
to explore current practice and consider development areas
using a problem solving framework. These courses also examine
how to deal with resistance from group members and seek to
develop staff at the “Mindful” level of operation. |

Please note that we can also
provide training on groupwork skills as part of the full training
provision for some of the programmised interventions around,
problem solving (Think First, and Stop and Think), substance
misuse (ASRO) and alcohol and violence (COVAID). Please follow
