Pro-Social Modelling

These courses are 2 day events offering an introduction to the importance of Pro-Social Modelling by staff in a range of organisations. They are designed to encourage staff to use these skills within their everyday work by examining the background theory and practice of Pro-Social Modelling, considering and practising the core skills necessary in using Pro-Social Modelling and considering how these apply in individual work settings.

These courses overview international developments in Pro-Social Modelling, drawing on work undertaken in Australia by Chris Trotter and the subsequent developments in the UK and N. America. During the programme participants are encouraged to examine their current practice, review its effectiveness and plan for developments following the course. An optional follow up day can be provided to help consolidate developments in participants practice within their own work setting.
